What is Love, Life and intimacy after Menopause
(Improve your Sex Life Series Article #1)
Love, Life, and Intimacy after Menopause starts with loving yourself first, truly loving yourself, your body, and your life’s journey thus far. In order to love someone else, you need to love yourself first
My Dear ladies, this means that you need to be able to love every inch of your body. From the crown of your head to the bottom of your feet. Every scar, every blemish, and every pound. Every challenge that you overcame, every goal that you accomplished, and every setback that has propelled you forward.
I know that your journey thus far was not an easy one, I am here to encourage you and to inform you that once you have life, you must have the spirit of hope. Where there is a will, there is definitely a way; where there is a will, there is a purpose. And where there is a purpose, you will indeed find a way to materialize your why. Therefore you need to start loving yourself now, my fellow Goddess, as menopause gives us a renewed sense of purpose.
I am here to encourage you not to have a “destination” love for yourself. Having a destination love for yourself means that, when you lose the weight that you gained during the first stage of your menopause, you will love how you look. Or when you do a tummy tuck, breast enlargement, or a reduction, you will love your look and feel good about yourself. As I said before, start loving yourself now as you are imperfectly perfect, a Goddess in progress, you were put on this earth for a purpose, and you have so many more goals that you need to achieve.
Whether you have a significant other or are busy attracting your significant other, you are worthy of love and all the good feelings and experiences that come with it. Intimacy after menopause requires you to relearn your body as it will go through changes, and you will experience different emotions and feelings. Some of us may go through more changes than others, and that is OK. It is vital that you come to terms with those changes as that is the only way that you will be able to verbalize those changes and receive assistance with mitigating those changes.
We will be embracing the changes that our body will be going through, and we will be at peace with it. I will be discussing various ways on how to increase intimacy in your life, how to improve the quality of your life, and how to love yourself in the months to come. I will also be answering your questions in my segment, “Dear Spice Goddess,” so please ask them. You can email your questions anonymously or with your name to:
May you continue to add spice to your life, one sprinkle at a time.
Love, healing hugs and a sprinkle of Spice,
Amy Arrindel.
