Flowers are magical. A gift from mother nature. Many with vibrant colors, others in soft shades and, all with their own aromatic scents. All of us beings are, like flowers, with a shared growth and blooming cycle.
Picture this, because we have all been there! Walking down the street on a normal beautiful afternoon and all of a sudden you trip on something; all hell breaks loose, and you end up rushing three to five steps forward. You gather your posture and look back to check what happened, and then you resume your walk as if nothing happened, perhaps a little more attentive (or not!) to the street. That was a display of physical resilience, and we all want that but, today let’s talk about mental and emotional resilience.
In all stages of life, self-esteem plays a very important role.
Beyond “technicalities”, we can say that self-esteem is trusting and believing in myself, and in my potential. I respect myself, and feel and find myself worthy and worthy of happiness.
When we take it on with a positive attitude, the 50s can be a wonderful time for every woman, especially if we focus on the good that comes with age. The truth is that we are wiser and more experienced, we have achieved many things in life on a personal and professional level, we feel more comfortable and secure with ourselves, and many of us know what we want.
As we make our journey through our 40s and beyond, we can expect a lot of physical, emotional, and mental changes. There are also a few adjustments when it comes to the bedroom, and I’m not talking about sexual desire…although that is an issue as well. No, I want to talk about vaginal atrophy.
