Holistic Living backed by Neuroscience
Lima, PERU
Atenas, COSTA RICA
Since childhood, nature and outdoor life have been great references. I am interested in agriculture and beekeeping. While in college, I enjoyed working in tourism and adventure in my native Costa Rica. I like to cook and am a travel gourmand.
I have a Ba. in International Affairs and more recently a Diploma in Neuroscience that has come to integrate my practice with techniques of energy psychology and mindfulness. In culinary and healthy eating I trained in Lima, Peru and Venice, California. My Health Coach certification is from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, NY.
Since 2013, I have been raising awareness about healthy foods and lifestyle through classes, talks, sessions, and workshops. Currently, I specialize in guiding women to reconnect with their innate healing capacity. As a mentor, I hold a space for them to develop intuition, discover their wisdom, maximize their potential, and achieve their goals.
A great self-discovery has been to tangibly connect my emotions to the body and from the head to the heart. The practice of yoga and mindfulness facilitated that transition; additionally with somatosensory work, simple breathing exercises and acupressure techniques on the meridians or energy points.
The journey called life has taken me through various routes and paths, fifty years later I appreciate being more present and grounded. I honor myself for having dropped the luggage, embracing the light and the shadow with self-compassion: now I walk lighter, freer.
In addition to nature and food, my family is the core . I am a supporter of the slow movement: food and living; I value every moment in life with gratitude. I am happy to be a part of this diverse community of women.
