“Talking about menopause is much more than talking about the passage of time, hot flashes, trouble falling asleep, and changes in mood; it is talking about maturity, about fullness, calm and serenity not only in the body, but also in the soul.”
It is looking back to see the path you have travelled and feeling a new impulse to continue forward.
Talking about menopause is talking about rhythms, cycles, the dissolution of one stage and the beginning of another, it is talking about experience and inner wisdom.
Talking about menopause is talking about women who have lived, who have walked, run, enjoyed themselves, danced, laughed, and possibly also cried.
It is talking about women who retain traces of the passage of time, on their body, on their hands, on their face and also in their heart.
Talking about menopause is talking about hot flashes, which for me, are as if the body is in charge of reminding us that we are alive, that there is fire that is now born from within, to continue creating, to start projects, to continue those already started, TO LIVE.
Sometimes our belief systems limit us and make us fear it, but when we accept it as that wonderful moment of being whole, it embraces us and provides the strength to continue.
I know wonderful women, who in the middle of menopause and beyond it, have decided to transform their lives, have decided to heal the traces of pain, have decided to free themselves from resentments, guilt, abuse, lack and have chosen to live this stage in love and forgiveness, in renewal and peace.
That is why I want to invite each woman who is living this process today, to transform her gaze and live these changes by observing inside herself, recognizing the power that is in herself, taking the energy of everything she has experienced as fuel to continue her life with joy, with enthusiasm and especially empowered.
This is a perfect stage to dedicate time to ourselves. Possibly many years have been spent dedicating ourselves to others and now is a good time to look at our heart, perceive how it feels and hug it, hug ourselves and allow ourselves to heal and transform those beliefs, those patterns that have already lost their validity and renew them by conscious choices.
For me, experiencing menopause and what it brings as a new opportunity in life to encourage creativity, has helped me to take all that fire and energy to transform myself, to learn and accompany others in this process, to undertake new projects, bring them to life and carry them out.
We are in the golden age. It is a gift of life to arrive here and live it to the fullest, and although there are some physical changes, (yes, I know they are sometimes annoying), depending on how we assume them, on the attitude both physical and emotional, so we will go through it.
It is never too late to start; it is never too late to continue, it is never too late to know when to stop, it is never too late to live.
